From a small prayer fellowship in 1986 and a thatched shed rebuilt eight times in five years, Jehovah Nissi AG Church has grown through prayer, sacrificial giving and the faithful preaching of the gospel.
In Malayalam. In Tamil. In English. In Christ. Since 1986, we have stood as a beacon of hope in Parassala, touching lives through worship, home visitation, outreach, and the unending message of Jesus Christ.

From a prayer fellowship in a home to a congregation of thousands, built through prayer, tears and sacrificial giving.
1986
A Prayer Fellowship Begins
Following a prophecy that he would begin the Lord's ministry in his home region, Rev. N. Peter visits homes in Cheruvarakonam with Brother Daniel. A prayer fellowship begins, and a 40 by 22 foot thatched shed becomes the first place of worship.
1990
The Foundation Is Laid
Rev. N. Peter gives his only motorcycle toward the building, and the believers give bricks, sand, cement, timber and Rs. 8,200. Rev. David Stewart lays the foundation stone in the presence of Rev. J. Devadas.
1992
The Church Is Dedicated
On 16 February 1992, Rev. T. C. George and Rev. P. S. Rajamani dedicate the church. Its roughly 200 believers begin fasting and praying to grow to one thousand.
2002
Room for Everyone
The congregation outgrows a single service. Sunday worship becomes two services, then three in the same year: 6:00, 8:30 and 11:00 a.m.
2003
Jehovah Nissi Messenger
The first issue of the church's free monthly magazine appears in May 2003, in Malayalam and Tamil, carrying the gospel to homes across the region.
2006
Recognised in Kerala
According to the church's original history, a survey by the publishers of Hallelujah magazine selected JNAG as Kerala's largest Pentecostal church, and the church received an award.
2008
Five Thousand Believers
The church has grown to approximately 5,000 believers. A wall of the church is removed to enlarge the hall and make room for more worshippers.
2011
A Wider Vision
Brother Suresh Babu unveils the JNAG emblem on 10 January 2011. Four Sunday services are held in Malayalam, Tamil and English, and the church prays toward a building for 10,000 believers.
